Meet the "Founder"and the "Purpose" of

During the Sophomore year of High School, Thomas DiBucci began fulfilling his passion of serving as a Firefighter by participating in the local Fire Explorers Program.
Participation in this program included riding with the Station Crew answering calls, live training, and a Competition Team competing against other Fire Explorer Programs within the United States.
Thomas participated in the Fire Explorers Program until the age of 21 and became a Supervisor within the program for another year. At this time, Thomas began Interning in a Fire Department within the Palm Beach County District as a PIO Assistant for one year.
Thomas then began serving as a Firefighter in a Fire Department within the Broward County District and was voted in to serve on the Board of Directors.
During his 10 year tenure of service within the Fire Department, Thomas had the desire to strengthen mutual aid between Firefighters and Police. In addition, providing the support needed to ensure that all First Responders have the gear, tools, and equipment to help maintain their safety as they serve others.

One Vision, One Mission

Throughout his tenure, Thomas was inspired to “be a resource” that promotes mutual aid between Firefighters and Police Departments. In addition, to also “be a source” of provision to protect these fearless First Responders by supplying the gear, tools, and equipment to maintain their safety while serving others. As such, “First In Last Out”, a nonprofit Charitable Corporation, came into existence. Formed out of Thomas’ desire to strengthen mutual assistance among First Responders and promote the privilege of “Helping Heroes Safely Serve.” Finally, “First In Last Out” signifies community shared support through local and global partnerships.

Carrying The Torch Forward

Today, “First In Last Out” operates on these core principles formed from the foundations laid by Thomas DiBucci. We work diligently to keep his vision active providing tangible and intangible support to the courageous Firefighters and Police Officers who place others before themselves every day.
